Collaborative Zines

I periodically host a collaborative zine centered around a chosen theme (shown here, an Greek mythology theme called "Harpy Flock", and a fan-zine about a video game character called "Rouxls Rules").

In these projects, I take over layout, cover design, and coordinate the project. I work with a set of artists and writers (between 20 and 52) and communicate with them to make sure that deadlines are met and expectations are clear. Backups are also in place for circumstances that require their use.  Zines have been available in both print and digital formats.

Afterwards, marketing the zines was the next step, and graphics were created for the storefronts and for social media.

Alien Station Magazine is a periodical science fiction literary magazine, featuring both curated works in the public domain, and submitted work. I worked with writers in vetting their work for each issue, and made sure that any accompanying artwork was also set up correctly for the work's format (digital PDF).  The magazine was then distributed on a variety of online sales platforms.
