Book Layout + Design
The first three are solo-zines created in a series of month-long challenges. The first was to create a pitch of a comic chapter in a month, from start to finish. The other two were drawing challenges where each participant was to create a work of art using ink for each day of the month in October, in a challenge known as Inktober. These works were collected and assembled into saddle-stitched zines, and made available for distribution.
Below is a sample of a worldbuilding document for an original tabletop role-playing game setting, meant to get the players acquainted with the world in question. The work was created in a style that would be present in the setting.
More TTRPG work is below this, featuring a mix of client work and personal self-published layout and game design work.
"An Assortment of Vector Animals" follows this, which is a collection of over 100 abstract geometric vector illustrations, self published and perfect-bound, and made available for distribution on print-on-demand platforms.
Following that is several novel layout projects, where I was in charge of the entire production pipeline, from concepting, thumbnailing, writing, editing, and layout setup for print and digital distribution. These are available on print-on-demand platforms such as Amazon KDP and Lulu Press. They were an excellent way to expand my print and digital skillsets when it comes to heavy-volume literature.
Lastly is client-work, a 24-page children's book in traditional and digital watercolor. The author was consulted for the direction of the art style of the book, and updates were made available frequently.
